Pineapple Pretzel Salad

2 cups pretzels, crushed
3/4 cup butter, melted
3 T sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 can (20oz) crushed pineapple, drained
1 container (12oz) whipped topping, thawed
1 brick (8oz) cream cheese, softened

Combine pretzels, butter, and 3 T sugar in bowl; coat evenly. Press into a 9x13 baking dish and bake for 10 minutes at 350ยบ. Remove from oven and cool.

Using an electric mixer, blend 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and pineapple. Spread across pretzel crust. Cover and refrigerate for about one hour before serving.

Alternative:
When ready to serve mix altogether in a bowl.
